CPR and AED Training - (Session 1)

This course provides participants with certification in CPR and the safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Participants will learn to recognize and respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies, activate emergency medical services, perform high-quality CPR, and use an AED in accordance with current emergency response guidelines.

This training is required for Texas school nurses, coaches, physical education teachers, band directors, cheerleader sponsors, student athletic trainers, and other staff as required by Texas law and UIL regulations, but is open to any Anna ISD employee.

Este curso proporciona a los participantes la certificación en RCP y el uso seguro de un Desfibrilador Externo Automático (DEA). Los participantes aprenderán a reconocer y responder a emergencias cardíacas y respiratorias, activar los servicios médicos de emergencia, realizar RCP de alta calidad y utilizar un DEA de acuerdo con las directrices vigentes de respuesta a emergencias.

Esta capacitación es obligatoria para las enfermeras escolares, entrenadores, maestros de educación física, directores de banda, patrocinadores de porristas, entrenadores deportivos estudiantiles y otros miembros del personal, según lo exigen la ley de Texas y las regulaciones de la UIL, pero está abierta a cualquier empleado de Anna ISD.

The session will also highlight collaboration with occupational therpists to incorporate individualized motor accommodations, design sensory-friendly learning spaces, and use proactive self-regulation tools that maximize instructional time.
