This course provides participants with certification in CPR and the safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Participants will learn to recognize and respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies, activate emergency medical services, perform high-quality CPR, and use an AED in accordance with current emergency response guidelines.

This training is required for Texas school nurses, coaches, physical education teachers, band directors, cheerleader sponsors, student athletic trainers, and other staff as required by Texas law and UIL regulations, but is open to any Anna ISD employee.
