This session explores practical, everyday instructional and behavioral strategies designed specifically for paraprofessionals working in Life Skills classrooms. Participants will learn how to effectively implement individualized routines that foster student independence in functional academics, communication, and daily living skills. The session will also highlight techniques for delivering consistent prompting hierarchies, utilizing visual schedules, setting up structured workstations, and safely supporting students during transitions to maximize success throughout the school day.
