About me
Greetings all,
I'm Tasha Ingram, I bring a broad range of experience in several areas of Education but mostly my deep passion for student development. With over 25 years of dedicated service in education, my career began with 15 years as a Pre-K Teacher, where I built a strong foundation in early childhood education. I then served as an Education Coordinator and Family Advocate within the Pre-K Head Start program, supporting both student achievement and family engagement. I am currently in my third year as a Middle School General Employability Skills teacher, where I focus on helping students develop confidence, career awareness, and essential life skills that prepare them for future success.A proud Mississippi native, I earned my Associate of Applied Science from Hinds Community College and completed both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Jackson State University. Outside of the classroom, I have been happily married for 25 years and the proud mother of two adult daughters, ages 24 and 25. My family, my students, and my passion for education continue to motivate and inspire me each day.Topic of Discussion: A System or Routine That Makes My Day Smoother
One system that helps make my day run more smoothly is maintaining consistent classroom routines and structured expectations. These routines not only create a sense of stability for students but also allow for more meaningful instruction, stronger relationships, and efficient use of time. By establishing clear systems, I am able to focus on what matters most and that's supporting student growth and success.
