About me
Kristin Grissom is currently serving in her second year as a Mental Health Counselor providing therapeutic services, crisis intervention, case consultation, and staff and student support services to the campuses of Slayter Creek Middle School and Joe K. Bryant Elementary. She has previous experience in Early Childhood Education, which is where she decided to go back to school to earn her master's in education in Counseling and Development. She is currently an LPC-Associate working on her hours toward full licensure, serving children, adolescents and adults, providing person-centered, cognitive behavioral, and play therapy. Her passion is to walk alongside people and hear their stories. When she is not working or seeing clients, she is at home with her husband and three kids reading, cooking and learning how to be a dog mom.
