About me
Katelynne Brown is a passionate ASL and Deaf Education instructor who has been signing since 2007 and became professionally certified in 2021. She holds certifications through the TASC-ASL exam, as well as Deaf Education credentials, equipping her with both linguistic expertise and educational foundation. Although uncertified, Katelynne spent many years as a language facilitator performing the responsibilities of an interpreter. She holds experience in classroom interpreting, and video relay service. With over a decade of signing skills having been developed, Katelynne brings a deep love for Deaf culture, visual communication, and accessible learning to her classroom. She is committed to empowering students through immersive, engaging instruction while fostering respect, inclusivity, and real-world signing skills.
