Anna ISD Launch Week: Back to School 2026

This session explores the integration of sensory and motor supports within special education classrooms to optimize student engagement, regulation, and learning readiness. Participants will learn how to identify environmental triggers and implement practical sensory strategies—such as heavy work activities, sensory breaks, and flexible seating—directly into daily routines. The session will also highlight collaboration with occupational therpists to incorporate individualized motor accommodations, design sensory-friendly learning spaces, and use proactive self-regulation tools that maximize instructional time.
