Anna ISD Launch Week: Back to School 2026

This session explores the foundational steps of secondary transition planning within the IEP process, specifically tailored for middle school students. Participants will learn how to shift the planning lens toward post-secondary readiness by conducting age-appropriate transition assessments that reveal student interests, strengths, and preferences. The session will also highlight strategies for developing meaningful, compliant transition goals, involving students actively in their own IEP meetings, and collaborating with families to build a bridge toward high school success and long-term independence.
