Anna ISD Launch Week: Back to School 2026

This session explores the federal requirements, state compliance standards, and student-centered practices essential for creating robust, meaningful Postsecondary Transition Plans within the IEP. Participants will learn how to utilize age-appropriate transition assessments to identify student strengths, preferences, and interests in the areas of employment, education/training, and independent living. The session will also highlight strategies for writing measurable postsecondary goals, coordinating with community resource agencies, aligning high school coursework with future plans, and actively engaging students in the ARD process to foster self-advocacy and long-term success beyond graduation.
